Types of Coverage

Collision

Clearcover offers coverage that can help pay to replace or repair your vehicle in the event that it is involved in a collision with another vehicle. Collision coverage also covers incidents in which the vehicle collides with an object, such as railings, fences, trees, walls, and others. The same coverage also covers single-vehicle incidents. However, it does not cover theft, vandalism, damage to another’s person’s vehicle, as well as damage caused by hitting animals.

Clearcover includes a deductible in this plan.

Comprehensive

With Clearcover, you’ll be able to get coverage for a wide variety of incidents, especially with Comprehensive coverage. In a nutshell, Comprehensive coverage helps pay to repair or replace your vehicle if it is lost or damaged in incidents not involving collision. While completely optional, comprehensive coverage is good to have because it covers theft; damage not caused by collision but rather by hail, falling objects, hitting animals, and more; vandalism; and fire.

Clearcover includes a deductible in this plan.

Bodily Injury Liability

Because Bodily Injury Liability coverage is required by nearly all states, Clearcover seeks to make sure that all of its clients are well-protected. This type of coverage helps pay for bodily injury to other passengers in your vehicle, other drivers, and pedestrians. This coverage has two parts: the limit that Clearcover will pay per person in one covered incident, as well as the maximum amount that Clearcover will pay per incident.

While Bodily Injury Liability coverage will help pay for injuries to others, it will not cover your own injuries, should you have any. However, Clearcover also offers Medical Payment coverage, which will help pay for your injuries as well as those of other passengers in your vehicle. As long as the incident is covered by the policy, Clearcover will help pay for costs regardless of whether or not you were at fault. Clearcover offers a single limit for this coverage, which is the maximum amount the company will pay per person in one incident.

With Underinsured/Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury coverage, Clearcover will also have your back in the event that you and/or other passengers in your car are injured in an incident caused by an uninsured or underinsured individual. This coverage also has two parts: the limit that Clearcover will pay per person in one covered incident, as well as the maximum amount that Clearcover will pay per incident.

Clearcover encourages clients to avail of Underinsured/Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury coverage; some states may even require a waiver should you decline this type of coverage.

Property Damage Liability

As the name suggests, Property Damage Liability coverage can help pay for the costs related to damages to other vehicles or other people’s property. Clearcover offers a single limit for this coverage, which is the maximum amount the company will pay per incident.

Clearcover will also protect you from liability with Uninsured Motorist Property Damage coverage. This covers incidents in which an uninsured person causes damage to your vehicle. Clearcover offers a single limit for this coverage, which is the maximum amount the company will pay per incident.
